The Art of Intimacy - WORKSHOP

What to Expect

An in-person workshop focused on directing models through somatics, intimacy, and intention โ€” where posing is a result, not a command.

Held in a private setting on the Gold Coast, the workshop blends live shooting, discussion, and practical insight into both creative direction and the realities of freelance work.

This is about learning how to work with people โ€” not just how to place bodies.

โ‹ Somatic Direction

Learn how to read and respond to the nervous system โ€” using breath, pacing, and attention to guide posture, expression, and movement without forcing performance.

Direction begins with regulation, not instruction.

โ‹ Intimacy & Intention

Explore how intimacy is created through presence, clarity, and trust โ€” rather than through aesthetic cues alone.

Weโ€™ll look at how intention shapes the shoot, and how intimacy can exist with or without nudity.

โ‹ Live Shooting & Observation

Work with a professional model in a live shoot environment.

Youโ€™ll observe real-time direction, ask questions, and engage with the process as it unfolds โ€” including moments of uncertainty, adjustment, and pause.

โ‹ Boundaries, Consent & Freelance Reality

Clear discussion around nudity, consent, power dynamics, and professional boundaries โ€” alongside the practical realities of freelance work, including clients, rates, and sustainability.

This is about doing intimate work cleanly, ethically, and long-term.
