Bali Jungle Wedding

An intimate Wedding, deep in the Heart of Bali

Two beautiful friends, open rice fields, intimate jungle, a shamanic priestess, tribal music and a wasp sting for the photographer.

This is the very intimate, very tropical wedding of my dear friends Kseniya & Gleb.
Out in the rice fields near Sidemen in the centre of Bali, we met to celebrate and commemorate the love between the two.
It is my honour to share this beautiful ceremony deep in the heart of Bali.

Oh, and the wasp sting; during the ceremony I was stung by a very large black and yellow wasp. Wow, it added a new mix into my work. My blood pump, sweat poured out and my face swelled. Gleb thought the best way to deal with this was to suck the poison out - as the sting was on my toe, I kindly declined and decided to proceed with my duties.

A video also accompanies this photo-series, see the end of the post.
