March 18 | $540The Art of Intimacy - WORKSHOP
What to ExpectAn in-person photography workshop focused on directing models through somatics, intimacy, and intention โ where posing is a result, not a command.
Held in a private setting on the Gold Coast, the workshop blends live shooting, discussion, technical, and practical insight into both creative direction and the realities of freelance work.
This is about learning how to work with people โ not just how to place bodies.
โ Somatic DirectionLearn how to read and respond to the nervous system โ using breath, pacing, and attention to guide posture, expression, and movement without forcing performance.
Direction begins with regulation, not instruction.
โ Intimacy & IntentionExplore how intimacy is created through presence, clarity, and trust โ rather than through aesthetic cues alone.
Weโll look at how intention shapes the shoot, and how intimacy can exist with or without nudity.
โ Live Shooting & ObservationWork with a professional model in a live shoot environment.
Youโll observe real-time direction, ask questions, and engage with the process as it unfolds โ including moments of uncertainty, adjustment, and pause.
โ Boundaries, Consent & Freelance RealityClear discussion around nudity, consent, power dynamics, and professional boundaries โ alongside the practical realities of freelance work, including clients, rates, and sustainability.
This is about doing intimate work cleanly, ethically, and long-term.
