First Love
First love, then think.
Something I learnt as I sat on the shore observing women playing with their young. Completely in the moment like the rest of the world had no existence. Watching this gave me space tp breathe, within.
With eyes wide open I couldn't comprehend how beautiful these moments were. I say this with plural because for the first month I spent on Koh Phangan in Thailand, the end of a low season, I saw this multiple times. I wished so much I had my camera with me every time but I knew I had to wait. There was a perfect time for this. One where I had built the courage to ask as to not invade. One where I was calm and capable of capturing honestly what I was seeing.

A festival with millions of Hindus, the biggest gathering of humans on the planet. On the main bathing day it is estimated 30 million people gather - 6 million more than the population of Australia. I have never felt more welcomed by the people that make this so special. Incredible India.
